Bee’ah School of Environment Education Program

Being at the forefront of positive environmental change, Bee’ah, the Middle East’s leading and award-winning environment and waste management company, has put forward the Bee’ah School of Environment (BSOE), an environmental educational initiative to develop a ‘greener future generation’, through learning tools, to help children understand the reasoning behind environmental responsibility.

As part of its mandate to educate the community on environmental issues, the BSOE initiative is supported by the Sharjah Education Zone (SEZ) and the Ministry of Environment and Water, and aims to empower teachers with environmental teaching tools, and to educate and change students’ attitudes and behaviors.

The BSOE is a comprehensive, bilingual (English and Arabic) environmental education programme, communicated through an online portal (www.bsoe.ae), consisting of a range of engaging, fun and interactive environmental activities and lesson plans that are designed to educate students from nursery to the twelfth grade, and can be applied in classrooms and/or eco-clubs. Each lesson plan focuses on the importance of preserving the environment and its resources through the 3 R’s – reduce, reuse, recycle – and are downloaded by teachers and integrated into existing curricula or grouped according to relevant school subjects.
